Albuferia golf contains the courses at Balaia, Pine Cliffs and Salgados. Balaia, which also opened in 2001, is a 9-hole course of 984 meters. It is a good course for practicing technique while enjoying the scenery. Pine Cliffs which has been in operation since 1991 is a par 33 course, also 9 holes. Last but not least, is Salgados, an 18 hole, par 72 course built in 1994 that is located close to the beach. More skilled players will enjoy the added sunshine of its location and the challenge of the continuous ocean breezes. It is flatter course with several water hazards and a trademark of Algarve golf.
